Carl Banks

Carl Banks is a 2-time Super Bowl champion and many-time entrepreneur. Banks played for three NFL teams from 1984 to 1995, the New York Giants, the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns highlighted by being named a member of the NFL's 1980's All-Decade Team He was the 3rd overall pick in the 1984 NFL draft and was a member of the Giants teams that won Super Bowls XXI and XXV. Banks was a standout in their Super Bowl XXI victory in which he recorded 14 total tackles, including 10 solo tackles.
Beyond the grid iron, Banks has had significant success off the field in business. During Carl's playing days, he started designing clothes for his teammates. The clothing became so popular that he began to distribute them to major retailers and soon joined GIII Apparel to distribute the GIII/Carl Banks line of clothing which was a partnership that became highly successful. And just recently, Carl created the "Famous 58" line of barbecue products. Dedication to home-style cooking that produces good eatin' BBQ is the company's basic philosophy. It's already successfully been sold on HSN.
