Baja Outfitter:

We only work with the premier outfitter for each trip based on their experience, commitment to excellence and, most importantly, safety.

Our Baja adventure will definitely set the bar for what you can expect. Wide Open Baja has been the top Baja outfitter since 1996 with thousands of happy clients. There’s a reason why Wide Open Baja is a favorite for racing celebrities like Jesse James, Patrick Dempsey to top CEOs and executives.

Each part of your trip is designed to make this an exceptional experience for you. From the superb qualifications of your guides (each one has won the prestigious Baja 1000) to the performance of the cars allowing you to push the envelope of performance driving but still provide all the safety of a modern desert racer to enjoying the best accommodations and authentic Baja cuisine.

In fact, our machines are a long way from clunky dune buggies. You’ve got nearly two feet of wheel travel and the latest in suspension to soar across the Baja desert.

Maverick Breakthrough Business Day

Maverick Business Sessions vary by adventure, for example:

As a reminder, Members adhere to a confidentiality agreement, so what is discussed and shared during the business sessions goes no further than the room. Side note: Don't worry if you're a little uneasy about public speaking — this isn't the same. It's more like a group of friends coming together who share a love of adventure and business success. You don't need a prepared PowerPoint or anything like that. Plus, another big benefit of you teaching is that you become sharper at that skill.

High-level connections and deal making

There’s no doubt, during the ‘off hours’, you'll have a deep level of connection here due to the unique, shared experience with like-minded people. You never know who will come out and you can be sure it won't just be 'anyone' because of the qualification process.

Only successful entrepreneurs with the right attitude are invited on the trip. Just imagine what meeting one right person would mean to your business or life.

Here Are Just a Few of the Deals Fellow Mavericks Report Back On:

"... The total that I got from meeting just 2 guys on these trips was worth $283,000 to me. So I think I’m paid from Maverick until the year 2416!" — Mike Filsaime, NY (Online Business)

"... putting a deal together and made over $7,000,000 in sales in a month. That just doesn’t happen every day. " — Brad Fallon, Atlanta, GA, (eCommerce Expert)

You'll also get recordings from the business-side of the trip. This exclusive information will be something you can return to over and over again and share with your team to grow your bottom line!

Just one good idea, one new resource or one powerful connection would pay for the trip 100x over! And since the trip is legitimately a tax deduction (ask your accountant) your cost is significantly less in REAL dollars.

“Last Minute” Cancellation Insurance

There’s no doubt as busy and successful entrepreneurs our schedules can change overnight – that’s why we include “Last Minute” cancellation insurance for any business reason with your trip cost.

That’s right, we will purchase and pay for short-term travelers’ insurance policy for you from Travel Guard. This policy will cover accident, baggage, trip cancellation and interruption protection if you cancel at any time for medical, health or business reasons.

Now you can rest assured that if a last-minute schedule conflict arises – you’re still covered. I look forward to seeing you out there!

Additional Q & A

Q. Can I bring a spouse or companion?

A. Absolutely – but only if they are part of the adventure. They will need to pay for the full experience. We cannot accommodate spouses or companions for the social functions for Baja because we are moving from location to location each day in the off-road racers.

Q. What kind of shape do I have to be in?

A. As long as you are in moderate shape this adventure should not be a problem. As with any activity -- it's a good idea to check in with your physician.

Q. Do I need to know how to drive ‘stick’?

A. Yep. We had several members learn on last year’s trip but it would be good to at least get a little time working a manual transmission before your adventure.

Q. Can I bring my laptop, cell phone, iPhone, Blackberry, etc to stay in touch with the office?

A. You can if you like, however we cannot guarantee coverage when you’re the middle of Baja. In fact, this is the perfect time to truly disconnect and re-energize yourself when you come back to the office.

Q. Is this really tax-deductible?

A. One of the main purposes of each trip is to dramatically grow your bottom line so it should be tax deductible. Of course, you should check with your Accountant or tax professional for their final say.
