Here’s how your excursion will take shape:
After stepping off your flight, you’ll be met by an expert guide who will transfer everyone in luxury private vehicles to the Design Hotel 101 in the heart of Reykjavik.
From there it’s off to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing soak in the geothermal spa. Voted by “Conde Nast Traveler” as the best medical spa worldwide, the Blue Lagoon is not to be missed.
The next morning you’ll be transferred to the stunning Thingvellir National Park. The Earth’s crust is extremely thin within the Park and this gives rise to one of the most amazing natural sights in existence The Silfra Crack. The Silfra Crack is a part of the American and Euro-Asian Continental Tectonic Plates that are exposed above ground.
You’ll suit up and begin an amazing journey through the craggy sheer faced cliffs and crevasses that will fall away beneath you when you enter the water. The water has better visibility than at any other dive site and is regarded by divers to be amongst the best dive sites in the world. Bizarrely, as a result of the slow separation of the North American and Euro-Asian Tectonic Plates, you can begin your dive in Europe and finish it in North America. Put simply, the chance to dive between two of the plates that define the Earths Crust is something that you are unlikely to forget in a hurry.

Ice Climbing. What most of the population will only dream about and very few will ever attempt.
You’ll visit a glacier and not just any glacier; it’s the frozen glacial tongue – Sólheimajökull. It is a magnificent phenomenon, a rugged, raw and ever changing hub of ancient frozen water with amazing ice formations. You’ll explore the crevasse-riddled glacier with its sinkholes and jagged ridges accompanied by an experienced glacier guide. Along the way you’ll find an ice wall on the glacier and try your hand at ice climbing. You’ll be provided with all the tools you need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines, making sure you are safe as you brave the heights.
